A Bergamo Day
Bergamo Seminary
Fr John lead us all over Bergamo for lunch, coffee, chocolate, and more importantly, a tour of Poppa Giovanni's archive foundation! Wonderful tribute to Pope John Roncalli. When we left Fr John gave us all a Poppa Gioviani first level relic, a coin, and blessed holy card!
As we traversed the streets of Bergamo, I savored the Italian fashion sense, families in the piazza, breathtaking churches juxtaposed to each other, small chapels behind small doors, the taste of fresh cappacino, the deliciousness of a Bergamo pasta, cheese, and wine all recommended by Fr John and his heightened pleasure of our savoring dishes he recommended.

Bonding with my fellow pilgrims over bottles of wine and conversation at the end of each day. Tomorrow we head to Venice, the land of gondolas and water!
